Judge Dredd: When Judges Go Bad
by John Wagner, Mark Millar, Will Simpson, Chris Weston, Greg Staples
2000AD, $17.99; 128pp
Release Date: June 19, 2012

These are stories of Judges within the Dredd universe that are pushed over the line one way or another. And add to that the problems of other Judges having to punish one of their own and you have a great novel.

The art is done in the typical Dredd way, all angular lines and deep shadows. Reading this it is easy to immerse yourself within the world and feel the grittiness of the streets.

I enjoyed this and I found that I didn’t need knowledge of the Dredd universe to follow it. The stories are stand alone and well-conceived.

Highly Recommended ~~ Bob LaPierre
